Dear Parents and Students,
I am excited to continue here at Alamitos Intermediate School! I am thrilled to be a Condor and take part in this wonderful school and community! I hope to build meaningful relationships with each and every one of our students and collaborate with parents, teachers, and staff to ensure the success of all our students at Alamitos! As such, please feel free to drop by my office to say hello or to chat about any questions or concerns you’d like me to address.
My counseling philosophy: I strive to offer support to the whole ‘tween. Meaning? I am here to support you and your family with any issues
We like to see all our Condors soar :)
I attended college at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, “Cal Poly Pomona” for short. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Political Science with an emphasis in International Relations. I represented my university at two international Model United Nations conferences at the United Nations in New York as part of a school delegation for Greece and Portugal. I also served a semester as the university’s representative to the United States Congress as an intern for Congressman Dennis Cardoza of the California Central Valley.
I studied and earned my Masters Degree in School Counseling with an emphasis in Clinical Counseling at Chapman University in Orange, CA. I am working on my License for Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC) and potentially a National Certification in the future. I strongly believe that we learn something new every day! That way we’re all lifelong learners.
I was born and raised in Orange County, CA. I love Southern California and can’t imagine myself anywhere else. I currently live in Fullerton with my husband, Robert, our daughter Natalia, and four pets all named after different cheeses (YUM!). I speak some Spanish. I really like office supplies and being organized so if this is a challenge for you please stop by and I’m sure I’ll be able to give you some tips and tricks!
Please don’t hesitate to contact me! I look forward to working with you!
